Samsung Galaxy Fold coming to the Philippines

This is quite a surprise. Samsung announced that they will be bringing the Samsung Galaxy Fold to the Philippines.

Announced way back in February 2019. It marks another breakthrough in mobile tech as the first phone with a foldable screen. When Samsung sent review units to top tech reviewers, many had reported screen blackouts just days after unboxing them. Apparently, tech reviewers have removed the screen protector of the screen that caused damage to the device.

Samsung recalled all tge Galaxy Fold that was sent for review and cancelled the scheduled release. A few months after, Samsung relaunched the Galaxy Fold with better protection of the hinge and the display.
