Sony has officially added the new Alpha 6600 and Alpha 6100 to its mid-range category of mirrorless cameras.
The Sony Alpha 6600 is the latest flagship model in the 6000 Series. It was equipped with 24.2MP APS-C sensor with Sony’s E-mount. It has in-body OIS, 425-point PDAF points, real-time tracking and eye-tracking for people and animals, even in video.
The Alpha 6600 can also capture up to 11fps with AF and AE lock with the mechanical shutter and 8fps with the electronic shutter. For video, it can record up to 4K in 30fps.
On the other hand, the Sony Alpha 6100 was also equipped with the same sensor and 4K 30fps video quality that can be found in the Alpha 6600.
It can also capture the same 11fps in burst mode and it has the same auto-focus performance.
What lacks the Alpha 6100 is the in-body OIS, no video eye tracking, and no headphone jack to monitor the audio. It also has has a lower resolution viewfinder and a smaller battery capacity.

The Sony Alpha 6100 was priced at USD 750 (around PHP 39,000) for the body only while the Alpha 6600 comes in a USD 1400 (around PHP 73,000) for the body only.
