Globe, in partnership with Huawei, recently opened a 5G experience zone featuring the Huawei 5G CPE Pro modem at the Globe Iconic Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater.
Filipinos can now have a glimpse of what the 5G connectivity can actually bring to our lives by visiting the Globe x Huawei glasshouse 5G experience zone.
Last month, Globe made the Philippines the first Southeast Asia country to experience 5G-fixed wireless internet through the launch of Globe at Home Air Fiber 5G.
This wireless broadband uses the Huawei 5G CPE Pro modem that is equipped with 5G multi-mode modem chipset called Balong 5000. This allows users to experience up to 10 times faster speeds as compared to its predecessor, 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE).

Huawei suggests considering proper regulation of amenities that will support 5G technology to make sure Filipinos experience maximum speed.
Huawei has already invested in the development research of 5G as early as 2009. Knowing that innovation is not only about technology, Huawei understood that part of their success is by making 5G easier to function, more affordable, and simpler to deploy.
Moreover, as of June 2019, Huawei has already signed more than fifty (50) commercial contracts with network operators across the globe. The shipment of Huawei 5G base stations successfully reached more than a hundred and fifty thousand (150,000+).
Today, Huawei continues to accelerate industry digitalization to connect and empower manufacturing, energy, media, transportation, public services, healthcare, education.
Globe At Home Air Fiber 5G is now available in some areas. Eligible customers can now avail plans that start at P1899 per month for up to 20Mbps, P2499 for up to 50Mbps and P2899 for up to 100Mbps.
