Aside from the HarmonyOS, Huawei also announced its new EMUI 10 interface which is now based on Android Q.
EMUI 10 will also bring a redesigned interface, new icons, system-wide dark mode, snappier performance, and several new features.
Huawei mentioned that the new Dark Mode on the EMUI 10 will not only apply on system apps but also with third-party apps.
There are more clock and calendar styles as well as additional Always on Display options.
EMUI 10 will also bring improvement on the current EROFS file system and GPU Turbo 3.0 found on the latest Huawei flagship devices.
Huawei also introduces the Multi-screen Collaboration which links your smartphone wirelessly with your PC. It will allow you to browse your smartphone, transfer files, send a text message, and more by using the comfort of the mouse and keyboard of your laptop.
The new EMUI10 was expected to come with the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 smartphone while P30 owners can expect to get the new firmware starting September 8.
