Realme is in full steam with the launch of the Realme 3 Pro tomorrow (we will be there to cover the event). And now Realme Philippines is set to bring their latest entry level smartphone for 2019 – the Realme C2.

The Realme C2 is the successor of last year’s Realme C1 which we named the best entry level smartphone for 2018 at the #FTARecommended Awards. It comes with a diamond cut design at the back which we saw on older OPPO phones. Plus, the Realme C2 has a waterdrop notch which we like better than the C1’s annoyingly bigger notch. The phone is powered by a Helio P22 chipset and running Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6

Realme C2 specs:

  • Octa Core Helio P22 processor
  • PowerVR GE8320 graphics
  • 2GB RAM/16GB internal memory
  • 3GB RAM/32GB internal memory
  • Expandable via microSD up 256GB
  • 6.1-inch HD+ IPS LCD display (1520 x 720 pixels), 282 ppi
  • Dual Rear Cameras
    13 MP, f/2.2, PDAF
    2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor
  • 5 megapixel front facing camera
  • Dual SIM, Dual Standby
  • 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth
  • Sensors – accelerometer, proximity, compass
  • Face Unlock, FM Radio
  • GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS
  • 4,000 mAh battery
  • Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6

In India, the Realme C2 is priced at 5,999 Indian Rupees for the entry level 2GB/16GB model which is around Php 4,500 direct conversion. Our guesstimate it will cost roughly Php 5,000 when it comes to the Philippines. Let’s just wait and see when will it come here and how will it be priced.
