As on-the-go individuals, we are usually looking for a device that we can carry around all day without giving too much burden on our shoulders. The new ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA might be the answer to this kind of problem with its super small form factor and promising specification.
Let’s see if it is the one you are looking for.
The ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA has a form factor smaller than an A4 size paper. It also has a military-grade durability and it only weights at 1.09 kilograms. The slim bezels on its display adds a more sophisticated look on the device when you are using it.
When the lid was closed, you can see that it still has the ASUS’ trademark design pattern with the ASUS logo on the center.
On the right side, it has a micro SD card reader, USB 2.0 port, and an audio jack port.
While on the left side, it has the DC-in port, HDMI port, USB 3.1 port, and a USB Type-C port.
The number pad on its touch pad is one of the coolest feature of this device. It doesn’t affect scrolling that much but if you are being bothered, you can still hide these numbers in a single click on the numpad icon on the upper right corner.
The ZenBook 13 houses a 13.3-inch Full HD Ultra Slim display on its form factor smaller than an A4 size paper. That is 14% smaller than the previous generation ZenBook 13 (UX331). The thin bezels around it gives a better visual as compared to the old models. In term of the display itself, the colors, viewing angles, and the clarity are all on point except for the brightness that is a little bit dimmed specially when using the laptop in outdoor.
With its small and super compact form factor, you might not believe that it can actually run almost everything you throw at it. The ZenBook 13 that we have was equipped with Intel Core i5 8th Gen processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD and a dedicated Nvidia MX150 GPU. We mostly used this laptop for video editing using the Adobe Premier Pro and we are so satisfied with its smooth performance. Opening of applications was also fast thanks to its SSD storage.
This device has a 50WHr of 3-cell Li-ion battery and we are so happy with its battery life because it can give us beyond 10 hours of runtime when using the laptop in Battery Saver Mode and without attaching our RGB mouse. When fully equipped with peripherals, the ZenBook 13 normally last for 8 hours. We also tried it for movie marathon and it can play a full season of Game of Thrones with 50% brightness.
The ASUS ZenBook 13 is one of the most portable yet capable laptop that we have reviewed. It has a small chassis with maximized display size, fast boot up, long lasting battery, and it can even run smoothly almost anything you throw at it like video editing on Adobe Premier Pro. For the price of Php62,995, it may be too pricey of most consumers but we can guaranty that the level of satisfaction when using the laptop was worthy of your hard-earned money.
