Samsung has begun releasing an important camera update for the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Although hailed as one of the best cameras today in a flagship, the Galaxy S10’s lack of dedicated Night Mode is a bit of a bummer for night photography enthusiasts. There is a Bright Night feature found on the Pro mode but that will only work in if you activate it deep in the settings. Huawei’s P30 Pro is currently the night mode champ and Samsung wants to change that in a major software update.
Samsung is putting a dedicated Night Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S10. With this, the Galaxy S10 can now take bright photos in dark environments. The update also includes April 2019 security patch.
The update is currently rolling out in Europe and it will be a matter of time before it arrives here in the Philippines. Just remember, before you update make sure you have sufficient battery and back up your files. You can check if there is an update. Just go to Settings > Security Update > Download and Install. The new Night Mode feature is available to Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10+ users.
