Huawei has recently revealed the Huawei Mate X at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) last month and now, we have finally get the chance to take a hands-on and closer look at the most impressive foldable phone.
The Huawei Mate X boasts of having the fastest 5G connection on a foldable phone. This is because of the Balong 5000, a 7nm multi-mode modem chipset. It is actually around 2x faster than those from other competitors.
When folded, the Huawei Mate X features a huge 6.6-inch bezel-less/
The Huawei Mate X has the same triple rear camera lens just like on the Mate 20 Pro. It has a 40MP main sensor paired with a 20MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. When folded, you can use these as selfie cameras together with the secondary display.
This phone was also equipped with a huge 4,500 mAh battery split into two cells. What’s good about it is the 55W SuperCharge technology which is the fastest charging solution in the world and is 600% faster charging speed compared to iPhone XS Max.
Unfortunately, Huawei PH refused to answer when will it be available here and how much will it cost.
However, during the MWC 2019, the Huawei Mate X has an international price of EUR 2,299 or around PHP 135K when straightly converted.
The problem right now is the availability of 5G connectivity in the Philippines. The Huawei Mate X was dubbed as “the world’s fastest 5G foldable phone” and it cannot be justified until 5G was fully implemented here in the country.
But how about you guys? What are your thoughts about it? Will you buy it right now even you cannot fully use the 5G connectivity or wait until 5G became available before buying this device?
We would like to know what you think via the comments section.
