Aside from the new Samsung Galaxy S10 series, the company also announced its most expensive device they’ve ever made, the Samsung Galaxy Fold. This combines a phone and a tablet in one device.
It comes with two screens – a 4.6-inch display when folded as a phone and a 7.3-inch display when its a tablet. There is a hinge in the device that locks the device when it is open as a tablet or closed when being used as a phone.
Another notable feature is what Samsung calls App Continuity. You can switch to phone or tablet mode if you have apps and tasks open. Under the hood the Galaxy Fold is powered by Qualcomm;s Sbapdragon 855 processor paired with a whooping 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Lastly there are 6 cameras – three at the back, one at the outside and two more selfie cameras that you can use whether on tablet or phone mode. At the back we have a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP telephoto and a 16MP ultrawide lens. We have a 10 MP cover camera and a dual selfie camera – 10MP main sensor and 5MP depth sensor.

As we’ve mentioned, this is one of Samsung’s most expensive smartphones to date because it will cost you $1,980 or around Php 100,000. It will come with 4G/LTE and 5G versions and will be available in Q2, 2019.
