Alcatel has brought two new devices at the CES 2019 for the masses. Both smartphones are equipped with 18:9 display on their compact body.
First on the list is the Alcatel 1x that sports a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution that was protected by a 2.5D Dragontrail glass. It has a 13MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor on the back that can record a 1080p video with 30fps. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera that also support face unlock.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 (1.5GHz Quad Cortex-A53) paired with 2GB of RAM and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. And lastly, it has a 3,000mAh battery capacity.
There is also a variant of the Alcatel 1x without a fingerprint scanner.
On the other hand, the Alcatel 1c features a 5-inch display 480 x 960px resolution. It has a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has a 8GB of internal storage that can be expand via microSD card up to 32GB.
It was equipped with a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. This device is running under Android Go Edition.
Price and Availability
The Alcatel 1x was priced at EUR 120 and EUR 70 for the Alcatel 1c. They will be available in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and Middle East this first quarter of 2019.
