Vitaminwater will pay you $100,000 to give up your smartphone for a year

Smartphones have done so many things for us. From simple text and calls, we can now do a lot of tasks with the use of our mobile devices.

But anything we use too much might bring bad results. Some of us are not having enough sleep due to the use of smartphone and others are risking their health because of this.

Have you ever think of giving up your smartphone to have more quality time for your self and for the people around you? Or how about someone will give you a total of $100,000 or P5,000,000 to do this? Deal?

Vitaminwater, a Coca-Cola-owned brand is offering $100,000 to one person
who can go without their smartphone for an entire year.

Here’s how the contest will work:

  • Create a Tweet/Post on Twitter or Instagram and tell Vitaminwater why you need a break from your smartphone and what you’d do with your free time. Don’t forget the hashtags #nophoneforayear and #contest.
  • You have until 11:59PM ET on January 8, 2019, to enter.
  • Vitaminwater will pick one winner by January 22, 2019.
  • Don’t worry, you’ll still have something for your communications because they will provide a “1996-era cellular telephone” and an accompanying phone plan to use for one year.

Even though you’re not allowed to use or even touch a smartphone for a year, you’ll still be able to use a laptop or desktop computer.

If the company has proven that you really followed all the rules, they will reward you the $100,000! But if you think you can’t take it any longer, the rules also state that if you can only go six months, you’ll still win a $10,000 or P500,000!

A lot of social media addicts have already submitted their entries. Are you willing to take the challenge?
