A new processor made by Qualcomm has been leaked on the chart of AnTuTu. This is the new Snapdragon 8150 and it got a whopping score of 362,292 that then overtakes the score of the Kirin 980 of Huawei and the A12 Bionic chip of Apple.
This Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 is the successor of the Snapdragon 845. Having that score, it is the highest scorer Android smartphone on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform.
It will be paired with the Adreno 640 GPU, an upgraded version of the Adreno 630 found on the Snapdragon 845 flagship smartphones. With this, it will have 20 percent higher performance than its predecessor.
The Snapdragon 8150 comes in an unusual core configuration 1+3+4 or in other words – 1x high-performance core, 3x medium cores and 4x energy-efficient low-performance cores. The high-performance Cortex-A76 core is clocked at 2.84 GHz, the three medium ones (again Cortex-A76) are clocked at 2.4 GHz and the smaller Cortex-A55 cluster of four cores ticks at 1.78 GHz.
