ASUS is in pursuit with providing what the consumers need by continuously producing new products and innovation.

Having said that, ASUS has created their most powerful convertible laptop – the ASUS ZenBook Flip 15. This device was equipped with a 15.6-inch NanoEdge display, 8th Gen i7 processor, GTX 1050 GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and storage that supports up to 512GB SSD.

Now the question is if this laptop is the one for you? Let’s find out.

The ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 has a solid aluminum build which is nice as compared to plastic. Because of this, the laptop weights about 2.1 kg. But this kind of build material makes the device looks premium and stylish.

It has the standard keyboard layout with dedicated number keys. In case you are using the device in low-light, it has a white back-lighting that you can turn on.

Here are the ports and buttons:

The bottom of the device is a whole piece of aluminum that you can detach easily, it also has an additional air vent beside the hinge that is being blocked when the laptop was opened. The loud speakers are also found on the bottom part of the laptop.

The ZenBook Flip 15 has a very tough build. The sturdiness is there specially when you are flipping the device in tablet mode.

The ZenBook Flip 15 has a 15.6-inch touch screen display with FHD (1920×1080) resolution. It also has other variation with 4K UHD display but for most users, the FHD display that comes with our review unit is sufficient enough for you to enjoy the details.

As you can see, the colors are so vivid and the edges are now thinner with the NanoEdge technology.

This convertible laptop was purposely made for creative people. With its huge touch screen display with pen support, anyone will surely enjoy doing some drawings and designing stuff.

Listening to music and watching videos are also perfect on this device because of the harman/kardon technology built-in on this device. Although we still prefer the ASUS Zenbook Pro because it has 4 speakers as compared to the 2 down-firing speakers of the Flip 15.

The ZenBook Flip 15 also comes with the latest Wi-Fi 802.11ac technology with ultra-fast speeds of up to 867Mbps. It was also equipped with USB 3.1 Type-C port for any-way-up connections and super-fast data transfers, twice faster than USB 3.0. The USB-C port on the ZenBook Flip 15 incorporates the latest Thunderbolt 3 technology for versatile, ultra-fast transmission.

ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 review

We are having around 8 hours of battery life on device. It’s quite impressive considering that it has powerful internals and the dedicated GTX 1050 GPU. Charging the laptop from 10% takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes before it reaches the 100%.

The ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 was truly one of the most powerful 2-in-1 laptop out there. It has a solid build quality, a big 15.6 inches display with a very responsive touch screen panel, capable specs for having an 8th Gen Intel i7 CPU, NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU, and a fast SSD storage. If you are working on the creative side of the company, this laptop is the one for you.
