PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND DESIGN
This device is no different to most Kata smartphones out there. It has a solid glass in front and a removable back cover. It has a very small form factor that can fit on most hand specially for Filipinos.
The Kata V6 sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854. On its price point, this kind of screen resolution is just normal. Although the screen resolution might be too low on papers, when you got to hold the device, you will not see its difference from HD screens on other smartphone. In short, it still has a good display for most average users.
SOFTWARE AND PERFORMANCE
This device is capable of handling basic multitasking. It can support to run multiple apps at the same time but the 1GB of RAM might not be enough so you might have to close some apps on the background which you are not using to save some memory. We are also glad to see some basic sensors built-in into this device.
We are very happy to see a fingerprint scanner on a budget phone like the Kata V6. The scanner was placed on the back of the device and it works perfectly.
The Kata V6 has an 8MP rear facing and 5MP front facing camera. So far, it can shoot average-quality images which are just right for entry-level smartphones like this.
With a 2,400 mAh battery on a budget phone, the Kata V6 can last a whole day of average usage. With the regular function of call and text,
The Kata V6 is one of the offerings of Kata for those who are intact with their budgets. For its price of Php3,399.00, you can enjoy a smartphone with a 5-inch display, 1.3GHz Quad-core CPU, 8GB of ROM, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear / 5MP front camera, and a fingerprint scanner for a better security.
