At first glance, the OPPO F3 looks a lot like the OPPO F1s. We were really looking for significant differences but the only thing that is different from the F1s is the dual camera at the front. The physical home button is non-clicky one too just like the F3 Plus.

The design remains the same. We wish OPPO could come up with a new design for their future smartphones. Nonetheless, it is still a good classic design that we all love. It is a metal unibody design that is delightful to hold.

On the software side. the F3 is also running Android 6.0 Marshmallow just like the F3 Plus. ColorOS is a heavy custom skin from OPPO which offers a different UI experience. So us, ColorOS is very clean and smooth user interface and that is proven from its past models. We are looking forward to OPPO’s new ColorOS version soon.

Just like the F3 Plus, it also sports a dual selfie camera set up – one with normal lens and the other has a 120-degree wide angle lens. Fresh from the box, we took some sample photos. We will be posting more photos on our review duration on our social media accounts.

We will be reviewing the OPPO F3 for the next two weeks and see how it fares with its higher end sibling, the OPPO F3 Plus.
