Android OEMs has been stepping up the game and putting more features and upgrades but still maintaining the attractive price tag. On that note, we are unboxing the OPPO A39. At first glance, the OPPO A39 looks like every other OPPO smartphone we’ve reviewed in the past. This is the same look in which the company got their design inspiration from. We don’t need to mention the company though but its already common knowledge. OPPO still managed to come up with a smartphone with the same excellent build quality and elegant design.

Ports and buttons:

  • Top – nothing
  • Bottom – USB charging port, speaker, microphone, 3.5mm audio jack
  • Left – volume rockers
  • Right – power button, SIM card/microSD tray
  • Back – 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, noise cancelling microphone
  • Front – three capacitive buttons, 5.2-inch display, sensors, 8 megapixel camera

The OPPO A39 still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with OPPO’s EMUI 3.0 on top. We strongly suggest that OPPO should think of upgrading their phones to the latest software. We do hope OPPO could release an Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone hopefully this year. Anyway, we still love OPPO’s custom skin since it is very simple, clean and very stable.

On our full review, we will be covering pretty much on the camera and battery department. Full review in two weeks. If you wish to buy one today, we some good news. The OPPO A39 has recently dropped the price from P10,990 to P9,990! Go to your nearest OPPO store now and grab one today! 🙂
