Here’s another Vivo smartphone which is exactly looks a lot like its siblings the Vivo V5 and V5 Plus. The  differences can be seen on the ports and button placements. It is actually becoming generic and many phones share this design language. Though there’s nothing wrong with it but we are looking for a more unique look from Vivo. Overall build quality has been very solid.

Ports and buttons:

  • Top – nothing
  • Bottom – 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB charging port, speaker
  • Left – SIM card/memory card slot
  • Right – Power button and volume rockers
  • Back – 13 megapixel camera with flash
  • Front – Three capacitive buttons, 16 megapixel camera with softlight flash, sensors and 5.5-inch display

Specs of the Vivo V5 Lite is very familiar because it is similar to its nemesis, OPPO’s F1s. It comes with an octa core chipset with 3GB RAM which by far performs well. We have not installed any apps as of this writing.

The camera set is also similar to the OPPO F1s – 16 megapixel front and 13 megapixel back. We have not tested these cameras yet but we will post it on our social media some photos taken on the Vivo V5 Lite on the course of our review.

We were actually impressed with its price tag – P9,990. It is priced P4,000 less than its competition with very similar specs. It is impressive that Vivo managed to lower down the price of this smartphone. This is really a great deal and good value for your money. If you wish to buy one, you can choose from gold and pink variants. We will give a good nod on your purchase.

We will be taking the Vivo V5 Lite for a spin. Test the cameras, performance and battery. Full review in two weeks fellow techies! 🙂
