Infinix Note 3 Pro Hands On and First Impressions

Infinix Mobile Philippines has met a group of bloggers earlier today to show off the new Infinix smartphones that are now available exclusively at Lazada since the 11-11 Online Revolution. We were able to play around with the Infinix Note 3 Pro and we are very impressed.  But before we share our first impressions, here’s quick rundown of specs.

Before we start, the Infinix Note 3 Pro you are seeing here is in rose gold. Unfortunately, this color is not available. Only gold and gray variants are available here. Sorry guys.

Anyway, the Infinix Note 3 Pro is a big smartphone because of its gigantic 6-inch display. It resembles the Huawei Mate 8 depending on the angle. Compared to the Infinix Note 2 there are certain upgrades like a new UI, metal build, better display and a better camera. Let’s talk about the build. The metal chassis adds some premium feel. Good thing it doesn’t attract fingerprint and smudges. And despite its huge body, it doesn’t feel heavy too. The Infinix Note 3 Pro is also equipped with fingerprint scanner to add security on your phone.

The company has developed a new UI called XOS which the successor of XUI on the Infinix Note 2. If you are an owner of the Note 2, your phone has been upgraded to XOS as well. Infinix has been known to have been sending regular software updates on their phones to improve its performance and fix bugs.

Due to our limited time with it, we were not able to take sample photos from the Infinix Note 3 Pro. But we were able to play around with camera software. It is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Sample photos we’ve seen are very decent as well. No doubt that the 4,500 mAh battery will be more then enough to last you more than a day. But we have yet to test it further.

We are so excited to get a full review of this phone. Its about time Infinix Mobile should take center stage to give Android users more choices and more value for their money. For the price of P8,490, even without our full review yet, we will recommend the Infinix Note 3 Pro to anyone who is looking for a big smartphone with a big battery but for a smaller price tag. 🙂
