Meizu Returning to PH, Brings Meizu Pro 6 as First Offering

Last year, Meizu’s Philippine distributor, Novo7 Tech has officially closed down since Meizu has a lot of fans here, many are worried about its after sales service. Now we have some good news. Meizu is apparently returning to the Philippines by putting up their own office in Manila. A new website has been put up – www.meizu.com.ph but it is currently under construction.

Meizu Philippines will be bringing the Meizu Pro 6 to our market. Specs are very high end – an 10-core processor from Mediatek, 4GB RAM, 5.2-inch display, 21 megapixel camera, 4G/LTE and running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Meizu Pro 6:

  • 2.5GHz deca core Mediatek Helio X25 processor
  • Mali T880 graphics
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32/64GB internal memory, expandable via MicroSD up to 128GB
  • 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 3D touch display (1920 x 1080 pixels)
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 4
  • 21 megapixel rear facing camera with phase detection laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash
  • 5 megapixel front facing camera, f/2.0 aperture
  • Dual SIM, Dual standby
  • 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Fingerprint Scanner, USB Type C
  • 2,560 mAh battery
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme 5.5

No word about its arrival but we definitely excited about Meizu’s return to the Philippines. Meizu was one of the few Chinese smartphone makers that offers jaw dropping prices without compromising quality and user experience.
