Holding the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus seems like the familiar look and feel. Some of the design cues are from the Flash Plus 2 especially the concept of a removable metal and plastic combo back. We do love the shift of many brands from plastic to metal because it give a touch of premium and elegance to the device. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a slippery surface good the plastic top and bottom at the back are not as slippery. Good thing Lenovo included a clear case when you buy one.

This device still runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top of it. Lenovo, however, promised an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow by September. Just like any other Chinese OEMs, no app drawers is present here so all apps are on the home screen. If you don’t like this set up you can just download a third party launcher.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus left us with very good impressions after having it for 24 hours. As of this writing we have not installed much of the apps we actually use and just social media apps and some games. We will be using the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus for two weeks as our daily driver and full review will be up soon.
