The Starmobile Play Click is a cute, average-sized smartphone. It sits comfortably in the hand and it is very light and pocket-friendly. It is meant for your kid’s hands. Let’s check its button and port placements

  • Top – 3.5mm headset jack and USB charging port
  • Left – nothing
  • Right – Power button and volume rockers
  • Bottom – Microphone
  • Back – Speaker grill and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash
  • Front – 4.5-inch display, three capacitive buttons and 2 megapixel camera

Overall, the Starmobile Play Click is a solid device. The matte back give some added grip and doesn’t accumulate fingerprint and smudges.

The display has decent screen resolution 854 x 480 pixels which is just right to its 4.5-inch size. It quite sharp and bright though it struggles outdoors. There is no auto brightness here so you have to adjust the brightness manually.

The Starmobile Play Click is running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Smart has already pre-loaded some apps like iFlix and Spinner which is ready to use. Top social media app like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are also pre-loaded. All you have to do is sign up if you have no social media accounts yet.

Overall performance has been smooth as long as you close apps frequently. When it comes to games, Clash Royale and Clash of Clans works well here.

For the price, don’t expect mind blowing photos taken from its camera. The 5 megapixel camera lacks autofocus but takes decent photos on good light. Take it indoors and the camera starts to struggle.

Smart has included a Smart Super Pack SIM which is already inserted on the the device. It will give you 100MB of monthly data for a year plus load rewards of P30 every month. So far our internet experience has been great. Based on our latest speed test, we managed to get 7Mbps of download speed. Not bad!

The battery has hold up very well on our tasks. On you usual social media, calls, texts, chat apps with 3G or WiFi on, we managed to get around 9 hours of battery before it went red on us. You can stretch your battery further when you turn off your data when not in use.

We are pretty sure that your smartphone experience will be a great one with the Starmobile Play Click. Get free data and load rewards for a year plus you get a good smartphone for a very affordable price. Do you own a Jurassic smartphone? Come on, its time to ditch that! Get the Starmobile Play Click!
