Cloudfone’s CloudPad X Quick Hands On: A New Tablet To Watch Out

Our friends from Cloudfone gave us an exclusive sneak peak of the upcoming Windows 10 tablet called the CloudPad X. The tablet is basically a successor to the CloudPad Epic 8.0 of last year.

Cloudpad X:

  • 1.8GHz Quad Core Intel processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 32GB internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 64GB
  • 8-inch XGA IPS LCD display (1024 x 768 pixels)
  • 5 megapixel rear facing camera
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • Windows 10 and Android 4.4 Kitkat

The Cloudpad X is made up metal and glass that it makes us feel we are holding an oversized Apple iPhone 4s. Since it has a glass panel at the back, expect it would attract fingerprints and smudges. The Cloudpad X is surprisingly lightweight though we find it quite slippery. Good thing it has a case that comes with the package.

Speaking of the case, it is made of sandpaper like texture that gives the Cloudpad X a secure grip when holding it. It comes with this cute magnetic keyboard that attaches to the case. When you put the tablet along with the magnetic bluetooth keyboard, it becomes like a small laptop. Cool!

It runs Windows 10 so expect this device to be your best buddy when it comes to work and play. If you having an Android experience, no problem, a simple tap on the taskbar and the Cloudpad X will switch from Windows 10 to Android. Switching back is easy. Just go to the drag down menu and press OS Switch.

We are so excited to more time with this device! The Cloudpad X will be hitting the stores very soon but Cloudfone has not mentioned any price but they said it will be below 10K. Stay tuned!
