Alcatel has indeed come a very long way when it comes to phone design. The overall look of the Alcatel Idol 4s is a big step up from its predecessors. This metal and glass chassis looks very classy especially that spiral effects at the back when it is being hit by the light. You will notice a protruding button on the right side of the device. That is Alcatel’s BOOM button. Press it and it will do wonders like a camera shutter key when recording a a video, gives you weather updates on the screen, and lets out Nitro when playing Asphalt games.
Another surprising feature is the reversible display it adopted from the Idol 3. You can use the phone upwards or downwards because the screen will just adjust. Speaking of the display, it is gorgeous. The 5.5-inch display is bright. vivid and with good viewing angles.
As for the price, the folks at Alcatel Philippines said it will be below P30,000 so we don’t know about its exact figures. If it will be around 25 to 30k that is a little bit out of reach. We will let you know if we get more details. So far, we are very happy with our short hands on.
