Great news for GALAXY smartphone owners! Starting February 15, 2016, Samsung will start rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow software updates. The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge will be the first devices to receive the update, with other Galaxy devices to follow soon.
Aside from minor interface tweaks, the update will bring new edge screen functionalities. Looks like Samsung doesn’t want this feature to stay as a novelty anymore. Users will finally be able to do more with a bigger real estate for the edge functions, especially new ones like creating an S planner event or using the edge screen as a ruler and compass.
Samsung will be releasing separate announcement for the update schedules for other GALAXY devices.
