One of Oppo’s best selling points is the design of their phone it may be inspired from Apple but definitely their smartphones have their own character. The Oppo F1 reminds us so much of the Oppo R7 Lite we reviewed a few months back. The 2.5D curved glass which happens to be a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 makes the device sleek and sexy. The back is so similar to the R7 Lite though we notice that the Oppo F1 is lighter and thinner despite having a metal body.

Oppo’s ColosOS is one of our favorite custom Android skin. It remains to be fast and simple. The overall look of the UI is also clean. But the star of the show here is the camera. Looking at the specs sheet, there is nothing that would blow you away here. But the meaty part of the Oppo F1’s camera is the software. Oppo has added so many options to make your photos look good like Ultra HD, Slow Shutter, Double Exposure and Beautify. For selfielords, the screen can be used as a selfie flash for better lighting. Cool!

Yes folks, the Oppo F1 is a certified camera focused smartphone. As Oppo said, average Pinoys take selfies about 2 to 3 times a day and to capture that moment with friends or family, you really need a good camera. We will recommend the Oppo F1 to anyone who loves taking photos as an alternative to their DSLR camera. Of course selfielords will enjoy the device’s unique features.
