As simply put by Digs Dimagiba, Business Unit Head of the IT and Mobile Division of Samsung Electronics Philippines “Empowerd by digital technology, this generation is open to taking more risks, to push the boundaries of their preconceived limits. A big part of that is because there are brands like Samsung that empower consumers to do more by making it easier to capture, create and share cherished moments of note.”
A Digital Catwalk
In collaboration with the Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Samsung thru the S Carpet featured “an interactive digital fashion show” which highlights Filipino artistry at its finest. Opening the show are the top-bill designers Avel Bacudio, James Reyes, Ivarluski Aseron, Vic Barba, Joey Samson and Anthony Nocom which showcased White Pearl Collection to represent the birth place of all designs, a blank canvas. Like the all-new design of Samsung Galaxy Note5, the catwalk was filled with all the possibilities one can imagine, making it vivid enough to turn things to reality.
Sleek and edgy designs of the acclaimed artists Jerome Ang, Joel Escober, Ramon Esteban, Gerry Katigbak, Pablo Cabahug, Kristel Yulo, Ronaldo Arnaldo, Happy Andrada, Hindy Tantoco and Noel Crisostomo paraded after with the Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum collection. This paid tribute to the “elegant glass” and “metal finish” of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
Lastly, the ever classic terno designs of the applauded Dong Omega-Diaz, Frederick Peralta, JC Buendia, Jojie Lloren, Randy Ortiz and Albert Andrada took the spotlight at the catwalk. Indeed, a great way to close the curtains is a statement of how the advancements in technology reinvent and reintroduce our priceless and preserved tradition.
