True to what we’ve read from other tech blogs, the Xiaomi Mi 3 is a very well built device. It may not be the prettiest or sexiest hardware on the market but it is very nice to hold and still has this premium feel. There are many people we know that prefer this Xperia-like design that has edgy corners and the Mi 3 will be appealing to them.
The 5-inch display has a Full HD resolution which means its bright and very sharp. Watching videos and playing games will be a delight. Although we’ve seen better displays like the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the last year’s LG G2, we couldn’t complain more because of its affordable price. We’ve noticed some minor lags here and there while playing the device but its understandable because of its heavily skinned UI called MIUI. Mi 3 owners are expecting an update of the custom UI from MIUI 5 to version 6 which improve performance and eliminate lags.
We have not tested the camera or how it fares to gaming but we’ll try to get a review unit so that we can give you a more detailed review. Bottomline, this is good buy if you are looking for an affordable smartphone with flagship-worthy specs. Please do share your experience with it if you own one. 🙂
WHERE IS THE SERVICE CENTER?
Of course most of you will ask where the service center is before buying one. Well, we have good news! Xiaomi Phillpines has just opened their first service center and it is located in Metro Manila.
As you can see from the photos above, the said service center is ready to accept customers with concerns. The Mi Service Center is located at 2/F One Kennedy Place, Club Filipino Drive in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Xiaomi has 7 other authorized service centers in the country click here to see the list.
