O+ Air Short Hands On Review

We seldom review smartphones from O+ USA but we heard a of lot good things about the brand. Although there are negative things too but most of our friends and acquaintances who owns an O+ have nice words to say. We have here is the O+ Air, the current flagship smartphone. We had a short time playing with it and here’s our take.

O+ Air specs:

  • 1.7GHz Octa Core Mediatek MT6592 processor
  • Mali 450MP graphics
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal memory expandable via MicroSD up to 32GB
  • 5-inch Lumi Display (1280 x 720 pixels) 294 ppi
  • 13 megapixel rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash
  • 5 megapixel front facing camera
  • Dual SIM, Dual Standby
  • HSPA+, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0
  • GPS, A-GPS
  • 2,000 mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 Kitkat
  • SRP: P13,990
  • Status: Available on O+ stores, kiosks and retailers

  • Good display
  • Nice design! It reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy SII.
  • Lightweight and easy to hold
  • Octa Core processor! Fast and smooth operation
  • Running Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box

  • Only 720p display as compared to other flagships with Full HD display
  • Small battery. It a little small for an Octa Core processor
  • Only 1GB RAM. We wish it could have 2GB RAM for better gaming experience.
  • Ugly UI
