Starmobile Up Announced: The MyPhone Rio Challenger


Starmobile has just announced a smartphone to challenge MyPhone’s best-selling smartphone, the MyPhone Rio. The Starmobile Up is the company’s answer to Rio and Cherry Mobile’s Omega Spectrum. At P4,990, the Up has the same specs found on the Rio. But the big advantage of this smartphone is its already running Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.

Aside from running Android 4.4 Kitkat, Starmobile has stuffed up gesture controls like double tap to wake the screen and multipoint gestures. The Starmobile Up is now available on Starmobile stores, kiosks, and retailers. You’ll get free OTG cable and flip case when you buy one. 🙂
