Kata? What’s Kata? That’s probably your first reaction when you first saw the title of this article. Before anything else Kata is a Hong Kong based smartphone and tablet manufacturer. So far they have presence in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia. They entered the Philippines quietly and have put up some kioks around the metro. They first introduced their tablets and lately smartphones. If I’m not mistaken they have been here for a year already. Kata now seems to get attention and have launched pretty good smartphones and tablets this year. I was able to get a short hands on with Kata Fishtab 3 months ago and they look good and well built. All their devices run on Android.
Now, the company is slashing prices of their current offerings in time for the holidays. The sale will be only today. Check the photo below:
The Kata i2 is their latest and currently their flagship smartphone. I saw this one displayed on Kata’s kiosk in SM Megamall and it is absolutely gorgeous in pearl white. It looks really expensive but its just P7,699 only for today.
