MyPhone has been teasing a new phone or should I say a PHABLET called the MyPhone Aqua Iceberg. This will be MyPhone’s first take in the Phablet race. Its packing a 5.7 inch HD display plus a quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 12 megapixel camera and running Android 4.2 Jellybean. There will be a launch event happening on July 26, 2013 at Eastwood City. I will be attending on behalf of Unbox!

As you can see it has some juicy specs! I know everyone is excited so let’s wait for the July 26 event to happen. The MyPhone Aqua Iceberg is the first smartphone without the iconic Philippine map logo at the back of the phone. Some buyers are complaining about it. The phone is said to be the BLU LIFE VIEW smartphone in the US. Blu is a US smartphone maker and just like these Chinese and Indian phone makers Karbonn, i-mobile, and Micromax, local brands (MyPhone, Starmobile, Cherry Mobile) are bringing these smartphones and gets rebranded here. Marketing and after sales service are handled by the local brands as well.
