ASUS Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 Announced

ASUS announced two new devices in Brazil which is running a new System-in-Package (SiP) from Qualcomm’s partnership with Universal Scientific Industrial (USI). These are the ASUS Zenfone Max Shot and ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2.

As compared with the traditional System-on-chip_ (SoC), the new System-in-Package (SiP) is slightly less integrated but performs just the same including all the components. The SiP 1 processor has similar power and capability of a Snapdragon 450.

As for the phones, they are similar in terms of specs but the Zenfone Max Shot has an extra 8 megapixel ultrawide angle lens. and has a 4GB RAM/64GB internal memory configuration.

Price and Availability

The ASUS Zenfone Max Shot (3GB+32GB) is priced at 1,349 Brazilian Real or $350 while the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2 is priced at 1,299 Brazilian Real or $340. Both devices are now available in Brazil via ASUS Brazil website.
