Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 Coming to the Philippines

Samsung Philippines is very busy announcing new phones these past few months as it shakes up its smartphone portfolio. Right after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M20, the company is gearing up to launch the Samsung Galaxy A50 and Samsung Galaxy A30 to the Philippines.

Both devices were first seen in recently concluded MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. These two phones are the first phones of the revamped Galaxy A-series of upper midrange smartphones. Specs are very different between the two.

  • 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage

    16 MP, f/1.7, PDAF
    5 MP, f/2.2 
  • 16 megapixel front facing camera (f/2.0 aperture)
  • Dual SIM, Dual Standby

  • 4,000 mAh battery with fast battery charging

We are still not sure which memory configuration/variant will come to the local market. We talked to some folks at Samsung and they confirm the launch of these phones this March. No price and availability has been mentioned just yet but we expect these details on the launch day.
