HARDWARE AND DESIGN
The OPPO F5 has a premium looking build quality and a stylish design. We also love the silver lining on its edge which add some elegant accent to the overall look of the device.
The placement of the fingerprint scanner on the back is also very convenient and easy to access.
It has a very immersive 6-inch Full HD IPS display. The colors are very vibrant, the contrast is good, and it has a very bright screen that you can still view the screen clearly even you are under the bright sun.
SOFTWARE AND PERFORMANCE
Powering the device is an Octa-core Mediatek MT6763T (Helio P23) processor paired with the Mali G71 MP2 graphics. The device can handle the games that we usually play like the Mobile Legends, Marvel Future Fight, and Dead Rivals. The device can also handle heating pretty good, it heats but its manageable.

For some unknown reason, the OPPO F5 only had a score of 69 on 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme and same with the ordinary Sling Shot.

Triple security features:
Just in case you are looking for a more secured device, the OPPO F5 has fingerprint, face unlock, and passcode security features that you can use simultaneously.
The OPPO F5 is equipped with a 16 MegaPixel f/1.8 aperture back camera and a 20 MegaPixel with A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology feature. The back camera can capture above average images with accurate sharpness, contrast, and color. The f/1.8 aperture also helps specially on lowlight environment and the result is very evident compared to other cameras with f/2.0 aperture. While its best feature is the 20MP selfie shooter which really standout among other selfie smartphones out there. See the samples shots below.

The 3,200 mAh battery capacity of the OPPO F5 can last all day on an normal to above average usage. Maybe because of the 16nanometer chipset that it has. We brought the device last OPPO National Selfie Day at Enchanted Kingdom and considering that it was a whole day event, the Oppo F5 survives the whole day of shooting and using it to post on social media.
As a conclusion, the OPPO F5 is surely a #SelfieExpert smartphone. It can produce amazing selfies and groupfies. The sharpness and good color reproduction is there, thanks to its A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology. Aside from its good front camera, its back camera can also compete with other high-end smartphones when it comes to mobile photography. The f/1.8 aperture helps to capture more light on dim environment and products sharp images. You should also take note that it has a triple security feature to protect your phone and you can use them simultaneously to unlock your phone faster. It also has a good processor that can handle most of your daily tasks. You can also enjoy playing games without being bothered with too much heating. We are also happy to know that the OPPO F5 has a tri-slot SIM and microSD card slot. This is very helpful specially if the 64GB of internal storage is still not enough for you.
