HARDWARE AND DESIGN
The Kata T Mini 4 has a good build quality. Its back cover is made up of metal and its has small portion that can be pulled-off to insert your SIM card and microSD card. We find this setup very unusual compared to other tablets that you need to remove its whole back cover just to insert your SIM and microSD card.
Its 6.95-inch IPS HD display is just a perfect screen size for your navigation which lets you read the name of the streets without zooming in. It’s also very comfortable to hold even when you are lying on your bed while reading something or browsing the device.
SOFTWARE AND PERFORMANCE
The Kata T Mini 4 is just right for your entry-level usage. Its 64-bit Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.0GHz can handle low-graphics games, web browsing, and of course you navigation. We sometimes experience lags when opening the web browser but after few seconds, you can enjoy your web browsing on a smooth phase.
Having the LTE connectivity is what makes the Kata T Mini 4 stand-out compare to ther entry-level tablet. Well of course it will always depends on the area that you are living or where you use the device. It also has good Wi-Fi signal reception even behind thick walls or even you are on the 2nd floor of your house or a building.
It also has Turbo Download features which allows you to use a Wifi signal and your data connection to download larger files faster.
While on its navigation accuracy, the Kata T Mini 4 is equipped with GPS, A GPS, and GLONASS which makes it suitable enough to be your driving/navigation assistant.
The Kata T Mini 4 has a lower battery pack and screen resolution compared to its predecessor, the Kata T Mini 3. Therefore expect it to have just the same running time with the T Mini 3. On our experience, the device can last all day specially if you are just connected on a wifi network. But if you use your mobile data alone, you might have to bring your power bank or your charging cable connected your car.
If you are a driver and if you feel that your phone is too small for your navigation, you might consider the Kata T Mini 4 as your driving partner. It has a bigger screen display so you can read street names easily, plenty of GPS sensors and technology for your accurate navigation, and specially its LTE connectivity for better data connection. These basic needs of a driver are packed on the Kata T Mini 4.
