We would like to commend Vivo for including a free case even on an entry level smartphone. Now, let’s go to the device itself. We are happy to see a gunmetal gray and a black face on the Vivo Y53. Its refreshing to see a different color for a crowd of silver and rose gold colors.
The Vivo Y53 is a small device with a 5-inch display. Its very pocketable as it easily slips into the pocket or purse. It is easy to hold with one hand especially if you have small ones.
On the software side, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vivo’s custom skin called Funtouch OS. If you have not used any Vivo smartphone before, it takes some time getting used to once you get the tricks and setting done, you will be all set.
We will be using the Vivo Y53 as we test its performance and camera. In two weeks, we will determine if the P5,990 price tag is worth your attention. 🙂
