In a meeting with bloggers and Infinix Mobile officials earlier, we were able to fiddle around the Infinix Hot S Pro. There are two available colors for the Infinix Hot S Pro – gold and gray. We have here is the gold version and it looks sooooo good! It has a unibody design just like the Infinix Note 2. It also feels so premium in the hand and since it is a smaller phone than the Note 2, it is also manageable using with one hand. Good thing the metal finish is not shiny so it is not a fingerprint magnet though it is a little slippery. We suspect that the top and bottom portions at the back are not metal but plastic. This are antenna bands since radio frequency can’t penetrate through metal.
Moving on to the software, the XOS is the successor to XUI found on the Infinix Note 2. But current Note 2 owners have been upgraded to XOS already. Changes are minimal but very useful. There is better arrangement on the drop down menu and app tray settings. Icons remain flat looking and eye candy.
Camera looks very decent too. Though we were not able to get sample shots the camera UI looks very intuitive and easy to understand. We will be reviewing the Infinix Hot S once we get our review unit.
For now, we are left impressed. For its price and its processor/RAM configuration, we will seriously recommend the Infinix Hot S Pro to anyone. For the camera, overall performance and battery life, please stay tuned. We’ve requested a unit that we can review for two weeks. 🙂
