Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Replacement in the Philippines Starts October 1, 2016

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners in the Philippines can now replace their potentially defective units beginning October 1, 2016!  Samsung is still in hot water after nearly 100 cases of exploding Note 7 units were reported and cause massive fear among 2.5 Million owners worldwide. Many airline companies issued advisories asking their passengers not to use their Note 7 while inside the plane even if it is on airplane mode.

Samsung has quickly issued a worldwide recall program for the Note 7. The replacement program already took place in Europe, Singapore and  North America. So far, according to Samsung, 90% of the Note 7 owners opted to get a new Note 7 instead of a refund.

As for our review unit which we got from Globe Telecom, the company has already picked up our unit since last week According to them, they will be delivering our new, non exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 anytime in October 2016. If you availed it via visiting the Globe store, we highly suggest that you pay a visit the Globe store where you got your unit.

If you got your unit in a Samsung Experience store or a retailer, starting October 1, you can return your unit and get a replacement plus P1,000 gift card and a free screen protector. We also got new that Samsung Philippine will also resume sales of the Note 7 on October 1 as well.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have a new green battery indicator which will help you identify if it is the safe and non-exploding unit.
