We had a fantastic time while reviewing the MyPhone 36 last month. In fact, we had the device for more than a month! Some of our friends expressed their intention to buy the My36 and give up their high end smartphone. But what if you belong to the crowd who is not fond of LTE and don’t want to spend much on it? Well, MyPhone has a smartphone just for you – the MyPhone My33. Let’s unbox it!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Looking at the MyPhone My33 for the first time, it looks a lot like the MyPhone My36 we’ve reviewed last month. Size-wise, the MyPhone My33 is relatively smaller than the My36 with its 5-inch display compared to My36’s larger 5.2-inch display. The device also has the same faux leather back of higher end sibling. We just find the MyPhone My33 thicker and slightly heavier but this won’t be a bother to you.

Buttons and ports check:

  • Top – 3.5mm headset jack
  • Bottom – USB charging port and microphone
  • Left – nothing
  • Right – volume rocker and power button
  • Back – 13 megapixel camera and speaker
  • Front – 5-inch display, sensors, 5 megapixel camera with flash

We had this device for about 12 hours only as of this writing. We will be doing our full review as we use the MyPhone My33 as a daily driver for two weeks. Stay tuned! 🙂
