Its been a while since we’ve reviewed accessories such as earphones. Good thing Starmobile sent us the Starmobile Bluetooth Earphones for us to review. Aside from being a bluetooth device, it is also NFC-enabled. We’ve been using the earphones for days now and here’s our review.

UNBOXING:

The package looks elegant and more expensive than its SRP. Taking out of the box reveals the bluetooth earphones itself, a USB cable and extra earbuds.

FEATURES:

The device is sweat-proof which means it is safe using while working out without worrying if the device can get wet. Connecting to your smartphone is a breeze. Turn on the device by pressing the power button for 3 seconds and connect your smartphone. Blinking red and blue light prompts you to pair it with your phone. You can use the device for phone calls too.

BATTERY LIFE:

On paper, you can use the earphones for up to 5 hours of music or phone calls. On our usage, we managed to get around 4 hours and 40 minutes before the device blinked red. There’s a notification light near the volume controls. Blinking red means you need to charge it. Red means charging but when it turns blue, it fully charged. Charging time is around 1 to 2 hours.

AUDIO QUALITY:

And now for the juicy part of the review. Audio quality is above average. We do admit, we are not audiophiles but we do know quality music and the device delivers. Calls are loud and clear as long as you are within range.

VERDICT:

We must say that it is quite hard to look for a quality bluetooth earphones these days at a lower price. You might want to check out Starmobile Bluetooth Earphones. It is now available for P1,490 at Starmobile stores and kiosks.
