Globe Tattoo Home Broadband, the wired internet service of Globe Telecom has just recently revamped once again its services. On our comparison of PLDT Home DSL, Globe Tattoo Home Broadband and SkyBroadband, Globe used to offer “UNLI” internet services with a daily cap of 10GB per day on Plan 1599 (with 5Mbps internet speed, free landline and Globe/TM calls and a WiFi Router).

Now, Globe is implementing monthly data caps on its wired internet services. It also bundled “unli” services like Spotify- music streaming service, HOOQ – a movie/TV streaming service and live and on-demand NBA viewing.

Check the table below:

Old and existing Globe Tattoo Home Broadband subscribers will retain their current plan with daily cap. The problem, however, if you are about to subscribe to any of Globe Tattoo’s wired services, you will have the monthly data cap.

We were actually saddened by this development. In Globe’s desire to maintain the quality of their service, they have to result into capping even their home broadband. Before you subscribe, better think twice and read this link. We strongly suggest that you take a look at PLDT Home and SkyBroadband instead.

Please do share your experience with your current ISP (internet service provider). You can share your problems with it or if you are out for a new wired service and confused on what to get please send us a message on the comments section below. We will be happy to help you with your dilemma.
