Xiaomi became an instant superstar in the country after launching two affordable smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 3 and Redmi 1s. The Xiaomi Mi3 is one of the most affordable smartphones today with flagship-level specs for only P10,599 and the mid range Redmi 1s will only cost you P5,599. Unfortunately, these phones are only available via online store Lazada and we all know many people here are still not into buying stuff online.

Wondering why Xiaomi is only putting up a pop-up store? According to our sources, the company is already planning to put up permanent stores but this might take time especially SM Megamall’s Cyberzone area is already full and other Cyberzone areas are already full. Another Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo, has also put up pop up stores in selected malls in the past because they still can’t put up their own store just yet. Let’s just wait if Xiaomi will make some tie-ups with well known retailers like MemoXpress or Hello Telecom.
