We have always been impressed on Kata’s build quality because we’ve reviewed quite a few of their phones like the Kata i3, M1 and Venus 3. The F1’s build quality is as good as its siblings. At last, Kata has finally offered a smartphone with color options – Black, Yellow and White. The white unit we played looks elegant. No one can’t guess that’s its only P4,499. We love the patterned design at the back cover of the device. It doesn’t attract fingerprints and smudges too.

Display was surprisingly good too. The qHD display is bright and crisp. The saleslady we talked to said it can play graphic intense games such as Dead Trigger  despite its limited 512MB RAM. This is  because of its quad core graphics. We also love its generous internal memory of 8GB and still expandable via microSD up to 32GB. Kata has been always generous when it comes to internal memory.

The Kata F1 is a good looking smartphone and smooth performer too. We hope that Kata can provide us a review unit so that we can further test its capabilities. 🙂
