Although cheaper than its bigger brothers the Q10 and Z10, the Q5 have some good specs as well. It has a 3.1-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 720 x 720 resolution same as the Q10 and it is also gesture based as well. The phone is made entirely of plastic and the design reminds me of the old HTC Chacha from 2011. It runs on a 1.2Ghz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a generous 2GB RAM.

BlackBerry 10 Specs:

  • 3.1-inch IPD LCD touch display (720 x 720 pixels), 328 ppi
  • 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 32 GB
  • 5 Megapixel rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1080p video recording
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera. 720p video recording
  • LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (market dependent)
  • 2,180 mAh battery, non-removable
  • BlackBerry 10 OS, upgradable to BlackBerry 10.1
The BlackBerry Q5 will be coming to Asia, Africa, Europe and South America in July. We hope that we can get a hands on review with this!
